Preventive Care
Preventive dental care is key to keeping your teeth healthy throughout the course of your life. It’s a combination of regular dental check-ups and teeth cleanings, along with developing good habits like brushing and flossing.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a simple and effective cosmetic dental treatment that we offer to noticeably enhance your smile in as little as one treatment.
Root Canal Treatment
Commonly called a root canal, root canal treatment is a type of endodontic therapy that is often recommended if the tooth pulp and nerves become infected or damaged. This may occur if injury or decay reaches deep into the tooth, past the outer enamel layer.
Dental Fillings
A dental filling is a restoration used to repair minor to moderate tooth damage. We may recommend a filling if a tooth has been damaged by decay (for example, if it has a cavity) or suffers from minor fracturing or chipping. The dental filling is used to restore the tooth to its original structure and function, and return your smile to good health. There are two main types of dental fillings available: amalgam fillings and composite fillings.
Dental Crowns
One of the most common uses of a dental crown is to restore a tooth that is significantly damaged or decayed. Dental crowns can be made of gold, porcelain or porcelain fused to metal; porcelain crowns are popular because they match the natural color and appearance of your teeth.
Tooth Extractions
A tooth extraction is a dental procedure during which your tooth is completely removed from its socket. We may recommend tooth extraction if you have:
* Severe tooth decay (cavities)
* A fractured tooth
* An impacted tooth
* Severe gum disease
* Tooth luxation or other dental injuries
PerioProtect™
Gum disease, also called periodontal disease, is a degenerative condition primarily caused by bacteria. Untreated periodontal disease can result in bone loss, tooth loss and gum tissue recession. We offer PerioProtect custom-made trays to fit comfortably over your teeth and gums, delivering prescription medication deep below the gum line. Our goal is to help patients avoid repetitive scaling and surgery when possible.
Dental Bridges
If you are missing a single tooth or multiple teeth in a row, we may recommend a dental bridge to restore your smile. A bridge is a fixed dental restoration, meaning it is nonremovable. The dental bridge is anchored in place through the use of two dental crowns, which are custom made to fit your smile and are placed on the teeth or dental implants next to the space left by the missing tooth
Dental Implants
Dental implants are lasting, stable tooth replacements that can be used to replace one missing tooth, several missing teeth or complete arches of teeth.
Invisalign®
Rather than using metal brackets and wires like traditional braces, the Invisalign system uses a series of custom-made, computer-generated plastic aligners to straighten teeth.
Dental Veneers
Veneers are very thin shells, typically made of porcelain or resin that are bonded to the front of your natural tooth to enhance the beauty of your smile.
Removable Dentures
A removable partial denture is a denture for a partially or fully edentulous patient who desires to have replacement teeth for functional or aesthetic reasons and who cannot have a bridge or implants for any reason.
